Hey Do you ever get the feeling you may have one too many needles I spent most of my weekend sorting my needle tin collection, most are full. I don't know where to put them, this is a 6x4 table they are sitting on and there is still not enough room, not to mention the 4 boxes of doubles I didn't photograph the spares. If there is interest I will make some more photos of smaller groups so everyone can have a closer look. Regards Marcel

We're going to start calling you "The Tin Man" That is an impressive collection! It would take one heck of a shadow box to display them all. Maybe you could arrange them into smaller groups by country of origin or brand.

Well,I would be interested in any Canadain Berliner tins you want to sell (unless I have it).I'm also looking for a "Paillard" tin or "Maestrphone".

You have a serious alloy habit. You'll need some fiber containers too! I would suggest making a display case out of a typesetter's drawer. These drawers were divided into small units that held the lead type used in printing of yore. Collector's of small things like thimbles and such have used these for years and may work for you. If you want to get started on a pulp tangent, allow me to offer this as a starter... If you do not have it and would like it, it's yours for the asking. Send me a PM. James.

I get a kick out of those Dog and Baby themed tins. The guys working in the graphics department must have been having a good old time coming up with depictions of various Dog and Somethings. I had no idea there were so many variations.

Darn, Saxy - that is one great tin collection. How long have you been collecting them?

It is great to see such a variety!
Original packing boxes too. Very nice.
