Jay,
When you login at the top of the page you will see, in red, some text that says how many messages you have. If you click on that you will be able to see and respond to the messages.
If you want to send a PM click on the user name. On their profile page there is a link in the title to send a message.
Hope that helps.
Dan

I noticed that a rigid arm Victor E was recently listed. It looks really nice. If I didn't already have one, I might be tempted to contact Charlie. You don't see rigid arm machines too often, and rarely in that sort of condition.

What is the private message system, and how does it work? Jay Click on anyone's name. Their profile will pop up. At the top of the profile is an item that says "Send a Personal Message". Then you get a little box that looks like a posting on the board. Instead of going into a thread, your words go to the other person. Hope this helps. As an example, I will send you a PM and then you can reply to it. Jim C.

Jim, It’s a lot easier (and requires less time/effort/navigation) to just click on the icon under their user name in the information pane to the left of the post, as I imagine that most people this weekend are wanting to send private messages from the sale thread. If the user has an avatar picture, it’s right under their avatar (and above the date they joined). — MordEth

I saw one a few months ago on ebay sell for like $10. I have one but it is in my 10-50. You might want to PM Frank Tucker... I thought I saw what he had two when I last visited him... but I could be wrong. Peace!

I just got back from Texas Antique week with a Victor I that needs an original turn table (eight inch). I also need the spring and pin that holds up the tone arm. Bubba mechanic put a screw and nut.
Look in those piles of trash and let me know what you find. ;D

I just lowered the prices on some of my items in my booth because I don't want to have to pack and load them back in the truck! See if you can help a dealer out! Moo

Congratulations, Mooo, on a very innovative and successful first Virtual Phonograph Show & Sale!!!
I hope we do it again next spring. I have not figured out how to create a virtual milk crate of old records for people to flip through... I plan to work on that for next year.
I found a few goodies. I hope others did, too.

Thanks Jim.
I'd like to tell everybody, buyers and sellers thank you for your participation. I think any money I made now has to go to other dealers for items I bought!
And the neat thing about this show is that you can leave your board up for months and you might sell something later from it!

Great job on perhaps the first-ever online phonograph show! I wish I hadn't been on a plane all of the first sale day and performing honey-dos most of the second. I'll be certain to become more involved in the next show.
Good job sellers - the booths looked great!

I was pleased with the overall atmosphere of the show. As a seller I noticed that no one jumped the gun and tried to get in the door too early. I think the economy played a major role with people not buying the big ticket items. It was time consuming to post photos and do descriptions but it was actually kind of fun "arranging" our booth for the show. You start looking through boxes of stuff in the garage of basement for things to sell and you find stuff you had forgotten you had.
Thanks Moo for putting it together.
