Hi,
I'm attempting to disassemble a no. 2 reproducer in order to replace the gaskets. I removed all the screws, dug out the old flange, and removed the stylus bar. For some reason, I am unable to remove the back cover. I tried prying it open with a screwdriver. Suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks, Kevin

once the screws are out it should pop apart. try using penetrating oil on it (Liquid Wrench for example). There's nothing else holding the back onto the front other than the four screws and maybe 85 years of crud.

Thanks for your advice. I actually ended up puncturing through the diaphragm and heating the gaskets and pulling them out when hot. This was not my first choice, but I figured since I have a new diaphragm available, it turned out to be a good idea.
