Hello All I own a Edison D home 2 & 4 Min Machine, The 2 min is not working correctly. The 4 min side it is working awesome plays great . can anyone help me straighten out this mess so I can have 2 min playing when I want to or is this impossible to do>? ::)

Your model has a sun and planet pully chances are there may be something wrong with the planet gear inside. Causing the mandrel not to spin at proper speed for the 2 minute cylinders. I posted a link on these particular machines. www.intertique.com/EdisonPhonographTutorial.html

Judging by the video is it playing The 4 minute Blue amberol that is in the the background Fine and not the 2 minute Chances are Your machine can only play The 2 minute INDESTRUCTABLES. If the Sleeves Of the 2 minute cylinders Dont say indestructable on them Then they are the wrong 2 minute cylinders giving you the grief The blue Amberol Is an indestructable type Cylinder. Yes I do know most of this stuff I Greatly appreciate the links. I am a club member out here in antique phonograph club in massachusetts. I haved asked several memeber about this also they suggested i also look on like at least this it what I try to remember what was said. Old age asetting in I guess. I grealy Apprecte All you Guys help Ill keep you Posted I thinking about looking into the pully system it maybe broke lik stated eirler in the post again Thanks so much from william.
