PLAYS WELL? YOU MUST BE KIDDING! "Cylinder is in Good Condition with some Mold discoloration, (mold was carefully cleaned using archival techniques I found on the web). Plays well with some surface noise." Thank heavens only mold "discoloration"! At least the mold is clean. "Archival techniques I found on the web"? Please someone tell me, I have box of moldy cylinders I'd LOVE to bring back in some magic fashion! "Some surface noise" means what, like A LOT of surface noise? eBay # 230326900929

Maybe it played well in 1952. Or even 1965. Not now.
I stumbled into a place in Houston TX once, I forget the name, that had a few cylinders scrubbed with steel wool to "clean" the mold off. Yeah, it took the mold off, and the music right along with it.
At least they're not trying to market it as a "marbled" record and think it's worth a fortune as a result.

cleaning the mold is a use less cause... take it from me. i did a big experiment with many different products last years in hopes of clening mold and every thing proved use less or disasterious...
