I am trying to find out if anyone does re-plating on the Victor Tonearms. I am slowly bringing a Victor III back to life, and i thought i saw a machine on Ebay one time that had a re-plated tonearm. Any information is greatly appreciated....Jeff

Jeff, any good plating shop should be able to replate your tone arm. You want to be able to tell them what type of nickel plated finish you want before going ahead and I don't know the exact finish that Victor used. Some of the platers who do hot rods, antique cars and motorcycles have the ability to do great work.

My suggestion would be to re-plate all the bright parts right down to and including the screws. All the parts will match and they will age together. I'd also suggest laying all the parts on a zerox and you'll have proof of what you asked to be plated. Jerry Blais
