Interesting post. I as restoring same model, produced by Layton Brothers, Montreal. I need a clear pic of the inside as wooden part of horn is missing. Do you still have the piece or can you direct me to the current owner? Any leads / info appreciated. Barry Ottawa Attachments:

I have purchased a second Alvara cabinet. This one is motorized and, although the horn is in tact, the rest of the cabinet is very rough. I want to swap the horn to my original Alvara, shown above. Any hints on horn removal before I get started? .
