I won this with an absentee bid in MO. We drove up to get it and I was pleased. It had over 100 2 minute cylinders in it and they all have great titles. No Hawaii (Sorry jim) and just a few religious. I was glad to see no pegs missing.

Looks terrific. Now where's that oak opera to top it off? Here's the better of the two I acquired the same day... Steve

Steve, That oak L door one is so fine! But it can't breath with the little one on top!
Is all the metal work good on the inside?

I don't have a pic but it looks pretty good. That little guy is the HMV version of a Vic 1. Has a neat decal unlike any Victor...

That is a great decal... I thought it was an off-brand machine but you say it is from HMV?

The tag indicates it was sold in Belgium

Wow....me like...very, very much.
I find that little guy far more impressive than even the XVI it sits on...most of us have run across an L-door in our travels (not to disrepect you XVI), but never in my travels have I seen a machine quite like that HMV (I'll try to restrain my lust).
Has the horn been repainted or did HMV make horns in that color?
I find you HMV particularly interesting because with the exception of the decals and the horn, it is identical to my Vic 1.

Yes, horn is repainted. Original was close to a maroon Gem, kind of a translucent red.... but it was really in poor condition..

I'm still incredibly impressed with the machine. It's certainly something you don't see every day
