HELP - I moved an old Colombia Grafonola - with us from MA to IA about 35 years ago - no one wants to help me restore it - so now it needs to go to a new home - I don't want to throw it Away - but that's what will happen if I can't find a new owner. It is probably a floor standing model F-2 from what I have been able to find on line from an old manual at nipperhead.com. The one I have does not work, needs restoration and repair, and the record storage has a push button ejector / storage system that was supposed to store and clean the records when they were ejected - this part works.
Is there anyone interested? I really hate to just throw it away. If I get any replies - I will take some pix and send.

a picture would help a lot. no telling who might be interested, since there's almost always a home for almost any machine. ... and no throwing out of any machine

I just saw your post from several years ago and was wondering if you still own the F-2 Grafonola. I own one of these, but the push button ejector / storage system was previously removed prior to me receiving it. I am interested in restoring this Columbia Grafonola Model F-2 which was inherited from my grandmother many years ago. I am having the mechanism restored and am in the process of restoring the cabinet. I would really love to replace the missing storage system in order to bring it back to its original condition.
After having my unit for over 40 years, I decided to refurbish it and keep it in the family for sentimental reasons.
