Instead of tweaking with the undersized governor springs on my Victor Victrola 6. I require 3 governor springs of the proper length. Under the Thread wise or unwise procedure. I have the serial number and the particulars of my machine, along with a big picture showing the governor. So if anyone has any governor parts or even a good set of governor springs it would be much appreciated. The person who sold me the undersized ones is avoiding me.

It looks like your motor is a "burton" motor and finding governor springs should be no problem. Send me a PM and I'll send you a set gratis.

Thank you so much Orthophonic here is a picture of the governor assembly cleaned assembled and adjusted. It is truly amazing how vinegar can clean and degum brass governor parts. It slides as smooth as silk and operates without binding

Eckster, That looks really nice! I have heard about using vinegar for cleaning cartridge brass but did not make the connection to governors. You made it look like new!
