I made this out of an old glass pipe holder. I made some gold leaf art and applied it. It didn't go on so well but I think that makes it look used and old. I think George Paul might remember this! I wanted a needle holder to use with my table top machines. I hate having to run to the trash to discard the used needles (you'll do that after stepping on one) Plus this one has cips for 3 types of needles.

As the Wizard would say, "Very resourceful!". I know you're putting this on e-bay for the Frankenphone police.

Someone will think it's original & it'll sell for hundreds. We won't tell on ya.

Yes I do! This guy I hardly knew came up to me at Union in a highly excited state, holding this thing. "What do you think?" He asked... I examined it carefully, thinking the item made no sense and must be a fake... But what if this fellow just mortgaged the house to buy it? Oh Lordy - why me? Luckily, Fabrizio showed up and - true to form - took one look and without hesitation said, "It's a phony." (Just like having Cramer with you!) At least I wasn't the one who ruined this poor guy's day... Only then did Jeff spill the beans. Nice guy...! George P.

It was a test and you made extra points for finess... as for Tim be got extra points for being so dang blunt! But you know, every collector that comes into the Mooseum go, "Ohhh I want one of those!" I'd make more but I can't find that type pipe rest anywhere. It really is handy though.

Moo, Rats - I saw one of these pipe rests in a shop somewhere around here not long ago, and had to smile... If I see it again, I'll let you know.
