Looks like the backbracket comes in the the left of it instead of the back of the tone arm connection.

I've never seen anything exactly like it but... Talk-O-Phones frequently have the back bracket slightly off center so I'll vote Talk-O-Phone with a mixture of other parts. The way the horn poorly fits in the elbow, it looks like a shortened cylinder horn. I have seen Search Light (tulip) horns made for Victor. What is the purpose of the metal piece on the same side as the crank? Do you think the machine started out as a front mount machine?

An odd bird for sure. What is that device under the front of the horn? Is that normal? Looks like it's for holding up the weight of the horn and I suppose it swings as the horn turns. Not very simplistic arrangement. Looks like it might be clumbsy phono to use. But still kinda nice. RJ
