Shall I fill in my "felt age" or my "physical age"? Definitely physical age else we would all be 18.

I just turned 35, but my music and trivia (e.g., "Call for Philip Morris!") probably makes me at least 60, if not 80.

Put me in the almost 50 club. I won't be old for another 8 months.

Hey! Where'd you get my picture? And check out my beeeuuutttiiful girlfriend!! You are not kidding. That is one ugly couple! Hey thanks all for the great response. I believe with nearly 1/2 the board members having voted, this might even be considered a scientific sample. Bottom line: WE ARE OLD!!! (excluding Aaron and Emidicta for course).

My 7 year old is threatening to join the board should the geezers start to run away with this thing. So that you can read this George I increased the text size! My bday is three days after yours (me and Big George share a birthday). You share a birthday with my brother-in-law, a nephew and my neighbor. So Scott is this 7 year old going to inherit your collection some day? or is he/she fed up with phonos after being around them so long? It would be nice to have more young people around...if not i wont have enough room for all the phonos left behind after all the greats start thinning out there collections and i am one of the only ones left... It's a little early (I hope) to think much about inheritance. He did ask and receive a Victrola Granada about a year ago. He plays it daily. Now I am being bothered for a cylinder machine which he will get eventually. I haven't had the time to put an Edison Home back together for him yet.
Don't worry about having to have too many machines. Unlike many current collectors, I don't believe that there will not be anybody to continue the hobby. Just think, our machines have survived two world wars, the Great Depression, 6 or 7 major recessions and somehow they were saved and often cherished. Why would there be nobody to continue collecting phonographs?
