Ahem... I can't help but notice that the 52-58 group is spanking the rest of you by 25% or more! But all kidding aside, I certainly hope this bell curve is not representative of the future interest in antique phonographs. If so, in another 30 years they'll be sitting out by the curb on trash days!

George P. hello my friend George------if the discarded machines are on the curb in 30 years -----then i will be the oldest sanitation worker when i am 90 years old ( i am 60 ) and scoop up as much phono history as i can! just think----i may find one of your books in the year 2039 that still has the historical relevance as they do today! i'm a "dumb irishman" who if he has his way is not going anywhere soon----or when he does not want to! your friend Michael

Could be anything: 5, 20, 200... (the latter of course if someone had just said something about "those old records"!) (at 60 this moment and many more until May) Do you age THAT fast

Well, the 52-58 category is way ahead now! I fit right in I guess. Dan Dan - there is NO way you fit into this category, do you??? I would have guessed a cool decade less than that! And by the way, please feature some of your beautiful collection in future PhonoFocus. We are happy to see machines, accessories, advertising posters (hint) and just about anything phono related. We love it all! Feel free to shill for OTAPS all you want too. There are at least three of us on the board. Keep us up to date with the happenings here.

I am 45 at least until 5/19. My question to the 50 and older crowd: How many of you had your first colonoscopy??? You know the doctor recommends you have one when you turn 50? Hey, AARP does offer good rates for auto insurance. Rick

<<Way off-topic ALERT>>> Well Rick - have you been checking your PSA levels? I would start with that and chart year by year changes. You'll notice it increases every year. If it increases too much in a year you should get the colonoscopy ASAP. Some of us were told to start at 40.
