Greetings all - It was in 2008 when I made my original Edison Long play phonograph YouTube video... but since then i've upgraded to an HD camera and have been making my videos in high definition. I haven't played my model 3-C Long Play Edison record since that video... so many people warn me of the damage caused just by playing... and how delicate prone to skipping the Edison LP is. ..but for posterity sake, I made another LP video in HD and wanted to share with you all. new HD video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkfBPrzgVBU&fmt=22&hd=1...and the original non-HD video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=W62mP1x46T8Enjoy! Thanks for looking!

LOL.. OK, so... there is a series of web videos called "Drunk History"... the narrator gets drunk and tells the story of an historical event... and then various celebrities act out the story, as told by the drunk narrator. To see some of these videos, search "Drunk History" at YouTube or just go to... www.funnyordie.com/search/a?q=drunk+historyBUT... the point of this post is one of their latest videos had me cracking up at work. Check it out. Drunk History Presents Nikola Tesla

IIRC, in order for an auction to show up on ebay.com and other international ebay sites, the seller must offer shipping to those locations. In Moo's auction, it is only listed as Freight shipping to the United States.

I don't know if there is a difference in the audio quality if you're watching the non-hi-def version.
Separately, I didn't realize when recording but tomorrow, June 28, 1914... 95 years since the breakout of WWI.

A user can "flag" listing and if enough people "flag" it, it will be removed.
I don't think there is anything especially illegal about selling to a "higher bidder" or for more than listed. Most of the listings on craigslist all have the "OBO" (or best offer) clause attached.
The bottom line is craigslist let's you haggle... with a few exceptions, I've generally always got the price down instead of up.
I do know that craigslist does not want "fishing for bids", that is... don't make a posting with no asking price that says "make me an offer". If you see that, it should be flagged.

The lid, decal and grill cloth are not original, but as the peice has been completely restored and they all look good now. It is serial # 4869. ...and of course, the YouTube video. (be sure to click "watch in HD") www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugTDl9ZPU6MAsking $800. Contact me if you're interested or if you want to talk about it.

I recorded a 15 minute video but had to chop it down to 10 because of YouTube restrictions.
ATTENTION: If I had known I would be attending a recording demonstration, I would have brought my camcorder, unfortunately all I had was a digicam so PLEASE PARDON THE POOR AUDIO. It sounded better in person.
